Fire Safety Training
RM Risk Management offers a wide range of training services to suit our clients’ needs.
As stated under Article 21 of The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, it is a legal requirement to provide basic training to all employees to ensure they understand fire safety. Employees with roles, such as fire wardens and fire coordinators, require more in-depth training.
Our training courses are bespoke and have been designed by our fire safety specialists to ensure they are fit-for-purpose and provide ultimate understanding for the target audience. By arranging fire training with RM, you can benefit from years of experience and information which is up-to-date while keeping costs minimal. We offer day rates, and a per-candidate rate for even more bespoke training courses.
We also offer off-the-shelf eLearning courses which can be distributed across large numbers of staff.

How often do you need to provide refresher training?
We recommend fire awareness and fire warden training is given at least once every 2 years.
Does fire extinguisher training need to be practical?
The best form of training for fire extinguishers is practical training, however suitable training can be provided via eLearning courses for fire extinguishers, provided your employees feel they fully understand this.

Can you design a bespoke course to fit my needs?

Our Process
Assess
To assist in your understanding of health and safety requirements, we will identify hazards on site and, for each one, we will determine how well we believe you are currently complying with health and safety standards through observation, evaluation of documentation and discussion.
Validate
For quality assurance, RM has a two stage validation process for each and every audit that is published. First the report is verified by the assessor that carried out the assessment, and secondly the respective Department Head reviews and validates the report before publishing to the client.
Report
To help you to actively manage your risks, RM publishes all of its assessment reports to BLOCK7 where, amongst other things, you will be able to view and download static and dynamic PDF reports. In addition, you can view and search risks according to the categorisation of Intolerable, Substantial and Moderate, or Monitor & Review with Traffic Light methodology.
