Dr Tony Fogarty

Managing Director

Tony has extensive knowledge in both the fire and safety sector, having written two academic papers on Fire Safety. He is a Chartered Safety Practitioner, a Nationally Accredited Fire Risk Assessor and a Level 3 Fire Investigator. Tony possesses a well-rounded understanding of both the fire and safety industries. He is also a Fellow of the prestigious Institute of Fire Safety Managers (IFSM). He is frequently invited as a guest speaker on specialised topics, has participated in numerous steering groups, and has regularly written articles for publication.

Andrew Linstead

Associate Director

Andrew joined RM in 2018 after earning a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry from the University of Leeds. With a strong analytical background and a practical approach to problem-solving, he has progressed through the business to his current role as Associate Director.

Andrew plays a key role in the day-to-day leadership of RM, overseeing core business operations, driving process improvement, and ensuring the smooth delivery of services to clients. He also provides strategic oversight of the client helpdesk, maintaining a strong focus on efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Alongside his operational responsibilities, Andrew has developed extensive technical knowledge, supported by industry-recognised qualifications including the NEBOSH Certificate in Fire Safety, IFE Level 2 Certificate in Passive Fire Protection, and the FDIS Diploma in Fire Doors.

Gary Fletcher

Operations Manager

Gary joined RM in 2011 as a Health & Safety Assessor and Technician and has since built extensive experience across site safety, occupational risk management, and operational delivery. His long-standing commitment to professional development and high standards has seen him progress into the role of Operations Manager.

In this position, Gary is responsible for overseeing RM’s operational activities, ensuring effective resource planning, consistent service delivery, and compliance across projects. Drawing on his strong technical background, he works closely with clients and internal teams to ensure risk assessments and on-site services are delivered efficiently and to the highest standard.

Alongside his operational leadership responsibilities, Gary brings valuable expertise in scheduling and coordination, ensuring client bookings are effectively managed and work is completed on time.

Outside of work, Gary is an avid Aston Villa supporter and a keen footballer.

Steve Colley

Consultant

Steve joined RM in 2009 after serving as a Royal Marine Commando, where he developed a range of key skills that he has effectively applied at RM. His disciplined attention to detail and commitment to due diligence enable him to handle numerous special tasks that require a meticulous and methodical approach. Over the years, Steve has completed various internal and external training courses, enhancing his expertise and capabilities. He is a valued team member known for his calm demeanour and ability to deliver projects on time, consistently meeting our client’s needs.

Steve is on the Nationally Accredited Fire Risk Assessors Register (NAFRAR). Tier 3 is a list of individuals who can carry out Fire Risk Assessments on high-risk and complex buildings. They have registered through a process that has recognised their achievement at the highest standards and levels of competency for fire risk assessors available in the UK.

Sylwia Leszkiewicz

Principal Water Hygiene Consultant

Sylwia has a demonstrated history of working in high paced consultancy services. Skilled in team management and staff development, she has successfully managed and trained a team of Legionella consultants working for companies such as BNP Paribas. She has over 10 years’ experience in conducting Legionella Risk Assessments on hot and cold water systems, cooling towers and process systems. Her advanced knowledge and experience in health and safety regulations means she can provide clients with site-specific policy and written support. As a C&G approved trainer, she delivers our Legionella training courses for clients and staff.

Matt Woolridge

Fire Safety Consultant

Matt has been with RM since 2018, during which time he has gained extensive expertise as an IFSM Tier 3 Fire Risk Assessor and a highly skilled Fire Door Inspector. Matt plays a key role in overseeing our BAFE accreditation, ensuring ongoing compliance and enabling us to deliver top-quality, BAFE-accredited Fire Risk Assessments. His commitment to maintaining the highest standards in fire safety makes him a vital asset to our team.

Ethan Fletcher

Health and Safety Consultant

Ethan joined RM in 2020 as an Apprentice Health and Safety Assessor and has quickly made impressive strides in his role. By actively shadowing our experienced consultants and taking on a range of responsibilities, Ethan is rapidly building his expertise in the field. In addition to completing numerous in-house and online training courses, he has earned key industry certifications, including the IOSH Managing Safely certificate, the NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety, and the FDIS Diploma in Fire Doors. Ethan’s commitment to professional growth and his enthusiasm for health and safety make him a valuable member of the team.

Paul Mouzer

Disability Consultant

Paul is a nationally recognised disability consultant with over 40 years’ experience advising organisations on disability, equality, and inclusion. Born deaf and later acquiring substantial visual impairment, he brings a unique combination of lived experience, professional expertise, and practical insight gained from working across the public, private, and voluntary sectors.

Known for his pragmatic and business-minded approach, Paul helps organisations develop sustainable, common-sense solutions that improve accessibility, inclusion, and legal compliance. His expertise spans people, learning, buildings, services, and communication, providing clients with clear and actionable guidance that delivers meaningful results.

Throughout his career, Paul has worked alongside government ministers and industry leaders, contributing to major disability initiatives including the Disability Discrimination Act (now the Equality Act), Access to Work, and disability-focused Building Regulations and Codes of Practice. A respected public speaker and Associate of the Business Disability Forum, Paul is renowned for simplifying complex issues, inspiring audiences, and helping organisations create environments where disabled people are valued and able to thrive.

Louise Thornton

Disability Consultant

Louise is a fully accredited Access Auditor and a member of the National Register of Access Consultants (NRAC), demonstrating the highest professional standards in disability access and inclusion. Through the NRAC, she is part of a network dedicated to improving accessibility for disabled people across all environments.

With more than 20 years’ experience as a Disability Consultant, Louise has helped organisations create accessible and inclusive buildings, services, and spaces. She specialises in Disability Access Audits for a wide range of properties, including multi-tenanted offices, mixed-use developments, historic buildings, shopping centres, and retail parks. She also delivers disability confidence training to property and facilities management teams.

Helen Smith

Accounts

Helen joined RM in 2018, bringing substantial experience from the asset management and property development sectors. As a key member of our team, she ensures the seamless operation of the finance department, overseeing timely payments to suppliers within 30 days or less and delivering accurate management accounts each month.

Graham Kelly

Technician

Graham has been a key part of RM for many years, bringing a wealth of experience in mechanical and electrical (M&E) engineering. Throughout his career, he has worked with some of the leading M&E firms across the UK, honing his expertise and developing a deep understanding of the industry.
